Jeff A. Lavey has served as the Executive Director for the Idaho Sheriffs’ Association since January 2021. He is a formal law enforcement officer working both county and city agencies for 35 years. He retired as the Chief of Police for Meridian after serving 14 years before starting with the Sheriffs Association. Jeff’s role is to facilitate promoting the Office of Sheriff for our 40 elected Sheriffs in Idaho.
